How difficult is it to put my pet in and out of a cart?
If you have a large pet and are not able to lift the rear legs and guide each one through the padded support ring, then you may need help. Once the legs are down through the rings, then you simply fasten a strap across the shoulders. If your pet is still able to stand on the rear legs and its knees do not hurt, then I find it easier to place one hand in front of each knee and lift the dog by that means. The first few times it may seem awkward but once you and your pet know what you are doing it only takes a few minutes. Obviously the smaller dogs are easier to handle than the giant breeds.
