The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing networks (see an online payments diagram). The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:
- 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions.
- Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information.
- Compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

K9 Carts West is registered with the Authorize.Net Verified Merchant Seal program.
Customer Service Policy
K-9 Carts West will make every effort to ship carts within 3-5 business days and accessories within 1-2 business days. Orders will be processed in the order in which complete information is received. There is a fifteen (15) day trial period for the carts. If you need to return the cart within the fifteen (15) days, first call to receive return authorization. Upon receipt of your return cart, we can refund 65% (50% for amputees) of cart cost provided that the cart is returned clean and in new condition. Additional deductions will be made if the cart is returned in less than new condition. Extensions are given beyond the fifteen (15) day period if customers are in contact with K-9 Carts West during the trial period. A fee will be charged for cancellations made after cart construction has been started; this applies if the cart is in the process of being manufactured or in transit to you. We are unable to refund shipping charges. This return policy applies only to carts that have not been predetermined as non-refundable.
Carts made for any pet other than a dog or cat is automatically non-refundable, as well as dogs over 100 pounds, 4-wheeled carts, specialty carts, and front-extension carts. If it is determined that a cart must be non-refundable, K-9 Carts will call prior to processing the order.
K-9 Carts West is unable to accept any accessory back for a refund or exchange if there is any hair on the article or it soiled in any way. If an accessory is returned in less than new condition, no credit will be given. There is a $10 restocking fee for all harnesses and a $2 restocking fee for each boot whether you are exchanging or returning it for credit. Any customized accessories for your pet must be paid for in full before being made and are non-refundable. As previously mentioned, we are unable to refund shipping charges on carts or accessories.
